“I didn’t enjoy A Levels at school and my Design & Tech tutor suggested applying to Colleges to study a more practical course like Carpentry.
I am now in my 4th year of teaching having completed Level 1, 2 & 3 Carpentry and the Diploma in Education and Training, plus I have been a Learning Support worker since the Level 3 course.
My journey has been helped by the support of the teaching team here and I am inspired to do the same for my students. I have now had students who have progressed from Level 1 through to Level 3 and onto jobs and careers of their own which has given me real sense of achievement."
