Our Employability and Social Enterprise group, within Foundation Learning, have been running a number of stalls at the college to raise money for Brain Tumour Research UK.
The learners made a variety of sweets and popcorn bags to sell for Halloween. Hot chocolate bags, decorations and reindeer food went on sale in the run up to Christmas, alongside a lucky dip and ‘guess the number of baubles’.
They raised a total of £73.24 and are planning to run more stalls at Easter with the aim of raising the total to £100.
