Kingston College was delighted to welcome local businesses and community organisation leaders to a Networking Breakfast on 31 March.
Rebecca Dalton, Apprentice Recruitment Manager at South Thames Colleges Group commented: “There has been no better time to employ an apprentice and having a nationally agreed structured training programme help organisations to fill skills gaps, help to recruit and retain high calibre staff, motivate the workforce because they feel more valued, widen access and improve diversity of the workforce, be viewed as a ‘learning organisation’ investing in the future workforce, and to promote staff loyalty to the organisation.
“There was also plenty of interest in work experience opportunities for our students which was wonderful and we look forward to progressing these.”
