South Thames College Group has launched a new Step Up Programme for learners looking for a chance to experience a subject area of interest as a route to progressing to a higher level qualification. The course is suitable for learners who are yet to start a course after Year 11 or those who have enrolled on a course and realise that it is not for them.
There are a wide range of subject options including: Art & Design, Business, Construction and many more. The courses are based at all four Colleges, Carshalton, Kingston, Merton and South Thames. They also include the opportunity to improve English and Maths skills. Student support and mentoring opportunities may also be provided around career goals and wellbeing. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be equipped with the skills to progress with South Thames Colleges group in a subject they love leading them into their dream career.
