It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Elizabeth II exemplified the values of public service on which our Colleges are founded and showed us how duty should be done. Her passing will have a profound effect on our communities and we will continue to support the people of south west London through this sad time. Our Colleges will remain open and our work will go on.
Out of respect for the Queen, we will be postponing various celebration events until later and details of these will be communicated separately.
The funeral for Queen Elizabeth II will take place on September 19th. This day has been designated as a bank holiday and the Group will close all of its Colleges on that day to allow everyone to respect the memory of our late Queen.
We will be open as normal on all other days throughout this period of mourning and we ask Students please to make sure they attend College according to their timetable.
