Why did you choose South Thames College?
I heard a lot of good things about South Thames College for example it has a very supportive environment.
Why did you choose the course/subject?
The main reason why I choose Business is because I love marketing, selling goods and meeting new people etc
What are the most enjoyable aspects or highlights of your course?
I love everything about my course.
Can you provide examples of any particular achievements or describe how you have overcome any difficulties on your course so far?
At the beginning of the year I thought the course was going to be super hard and more challenging for me because I’ve never studied business in my life and I haven't been to primary school. But thank you to my lovely course leaders Alisha and Tricia for supporting and motivating me. Now I’m perfectly alright and am doing well on my course.
Did you complete any work experience and if so how did it help with your studies?
I did my work experience for about a week and it helped me a lot especially communicating with people that I may probably have never met.
What are your hopes/goals/plans for the future or your next study options?
Currently I’m focusing on my college years, after college it depends where would I be for example if I was ready to go to Uni I would love to if I had any issues than I may go for employment.
Do you have any advice for other potential students looking to enrol?
Yeah, I would love to tell them that take me as an example, a guy who never been to school in his life. Joined secondary school in the mid of Year 8 and here I am studying L3 Business at South Thames College.
