Meet Christopher Mamendyi-Dinis who will be completing his 2 year BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport & Exercise Science this year. Christopher has already received offers from Birmingham and Durham universities, and is waiting to hear from King's College London.
Christopher says: “I was previously out of education for two years, however, decided to attend Kingston College to study BTEC Sport and Exercise Science and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. This course is perfect for you if you have a keen interest in sports and prefer to complete assignments instead of exams.
“This course has helped me to build a foundation to my knowledge and understanding of sports science, this is thanks to all the friendly and highly knowledgeable teachers here at Kingston.
“My second-year tutor Jade Douthwaite was very helpful when it came to applying for university. I am delighted to have received offers from top Russell Group universities, where I will be studying Sports and Exercise Medical Sciences BSc - I hope for a career in sports medicine upon graduation.
“I am looking forward to the new experiences that will come from university and further developing my knowledge as a sports science student. I hope you enjoy this course as much as I have.”
