As part of it’s commitment to supporting the local community, the Employability Team at South Thames College has worked with the IT Support Team to donate 20 unwanted PCs to the ‘Power to Connect’ initiative, managed by Wandsworth Council.
This donation will see the PCs distributed to local primary schools that do not have enough IT equipment, and so improve the children’s digital interactions and confidence.
Ana Popovici from Wandsworth Council, on receiving the equipment commented: “This is totally amazing, our Wandsworth children are lucky to benefit from your generosity. Thank you all.”
