Our Level 3 Childcare students will be donating gifts to the Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal.
The charity believes every child deserves a new gift at Christmas, so they are unable to accept used or second hand items for the appeal. The suggested gift list for children and young people includes:
- Dolls, teddy bears, cot mobiles, baby clothes, bath toys, CDs of suitable music, nursery rhymes, puzzles
- Dolls, action figures, cars, lorries, DVDs, CDs (music and nursery rhymes), colouring sets, pencils, crayons, books and puzzles
- Educational games and toys, stationary (colouring sets, pencils, crayons, school sets), CDs and family friendly DVDs, books, puzzles, word searches, crosswords
- Games, toys, stationary, DVD, books, t-shirts, hair accessories, gloves, scarves, hats
- Books, make-up, toiletries (please try to ensure non-allergic ingredients if possible), gloves, scarves, hats, t-shirts, hair accessories and gift vouchers
If you wish to donate, please bring unwrapped items to room A212 by 8 December. Presents will be delivered to the Sutton Branch on Thursday 9 December.
