Our Prince’s Trust students have just completed a community project at The Grange Children’s Centre (Beddington Park).
They were tasked with a design and renovation project to transform the play area.
The students sought donations from local shops for the equipment needed such as paint, paint brushes etc. which they did independantly. They then decided on the work that was needed which included: painting benches, brightening the large decorative stones and a thorough clean and tidy of the complete play area.
The Centre were thrilled with the results. Jenny Henry from the Centre commented, "I was really impressed with the work carried out and admired the young peoples' perseverance as some days were really cold and rainy".
