Monica Ferro is a Creative Media Course Leader and Lecturer for the School of Creative and Commercial Industries. She is a committed and passionate tutor in Visual Communication Design and Creative Media with 15 years of experience teaching students of all ages from different social and cultural backgrounds.
Educated to Level 7 with professional qualifications in Art & Design, Visual Communication and Creative Media Arts, she also holds a Teaching Qualification and related industry experience as a Graphic Designer / Illustrator.
Over the past 15 years Monica has taught a variety of Art Design and Creative Media courses in several London Colleges, from Level 1 to Level 4 and has been working at Carshalton College for 5 years teaching Graphic Design and Animation on the UAL Creative Media Production and Technology Level 2 & 3 qualifications and is course leader for both. If that wasn’t enough, she also teaches on the Level 3 in Games and Level 2 and 3 UAL Art & Design qualifications.
The range and variety of subject knowledge, an imaginative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and innovative and challenging assignment briefs, all enable Monica to deliver high standard and effective teaching.
Monica loves working with young people as they inspire her as much as she inspires them.
