The first session for the new intake of students enrolled on The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (Bronze Level) took place on Tuesday 12 October.
During their first session, Ciaran Fox who runs the DofE at Kingston College, discussed the various sections of the DofE including Volunteering, Physical, Skills and the Expedition as well as the benefits of the DofE Award.
Ciaran Fox said: “I am delighted that so many of our students enrolled this year, the DofE at Kingston College is growing in popularity with a total of 27 students all looking forward to the DofE challenge and keen to demonstrate their true potential. The group are already demonstrating that they are determined and motivated to undertake this exciting Award.
“The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is valued by employers and gives students the skills, confidence and an edge over others when they apply for college, university or a job. I am looking forward to supporting these DofE students and preparing them for an adventure of a lifetime.”
