Kingston College was delighted to welcome the Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Sushila Abraham, who was shown the exciting £10 million remodelling project the College is undertaking to transform its student-centred activities.
Ian Evans, Operations Director at ITC, the refurbishment and fit-out contractor responsible for the remodelling project, commented: “It was a pleasure hosting the Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Sushila Abraham and college staff on to the site at Kingston College. We were delighted to talk through the transformational building plans, share our team’s progress and invite the Mayor to tighten the last bolt of the steel work. It is such a fantastic project to be involved in and we can’t wait for the new entrance and spaces to be enjoyed by students and staff at Kingston College.”
The state-of-the-art facility, due for completion in the late Spring, will host a new ground floor Student Centre bringing the front entrance into the 21st century: the LRC will wrap around the mezzanine of the new entrance with key student support areas such as Admissions, Student Support, Undergraduate, Employability Hub and ESOL and EFL all easily accessible for all learners as they enter the building.
