Student governor

Emma Coleman, a student studying Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Travel and Tourism, has been recruited as the new Student Governor for Merton College. She will take on the role of Student Governor for 12 months, representing the student voice at the College Board of Governors meetings.

Emma says: “As new student governor, I am really happy to be able to use my communication skills to go to meetings, give my opinions and encourage students to change things in college. As a fellow student, I am in a good position to relate to what other students think.”
