Kingston College staff and students were thrilled to meet a new furry friend this morning – brand new College mascot Perry, a gender neutral peregrine falcon after our famous protected birds that nest on the roof of the main college building at Kingston Hall Road.

Perry stands for Passionate, Eager, Resourceful, Resilient, Youthful. They claim to be obsessed with growing their fanbase on Twitter, enjoy yoga, are an avid fan of the Avengers (particularly Falcon and Redwing) and read FE News in their free time.

Rumours are spreading that Perry is having many adventures after hours when the College is closed including concocting potions in the Science lab, fluffing up their feathers in the salon and perfecting their skanking in the Dance Studio.

This morning Perry received plenty of high fives whilst wishing GCSE students good luck with their exams today!

Look out for Perry during the rest of the Summer Term as they will be popping into classrooms, checking attendance and… *drum roll* …will be dressed in their finest at our Graduation event at the Rose Theatre.
