Our Health & Social Care and Early Years students visited Roehampton University this week as part of their preparation for higher education.
Health and Social Care learners had the opportunity to participate in a nursing demo in Roehampton’s Clinical Simulation Centre and our Early Years students participated in a demo in the Early Years Cedar centre. Learners engaged in a personal workshop and work experience session as well as a student finance workshop, including budgeting. Learners met with student ambassadors who gave them a campus tour and were able to answer several questions. Two academics from the Early Years department gave a taster lecture to our Early Years learners.
Learners thoroughly enjoyed the day out and are now able to make more informed choices about their future studies and careers.
