Are you interested in retraining for a career within the Healthcare sector? We are running two Health & Social Care courses as part of our Adult Community Learning offer with start dates in November 2021 and April 2022 - an Introduction to Social Care and Level 1 Award (BTEC).
The BTEC Level 1 Award in Health & Social Care provides an introduction to the skills, qualities and knowedge needed for a role in the sector. Students will study two modules:

The aims of these units is to introduce learners to physical and emotional care needs, factors that affect health, the general social care available for individuals, jobs in different sectors of health and social care and the qualifications and skills required to work in this sector.
