At South Thames College we champion our relationships with employers and part of getting ready for work is providing our students with fantastic work experience opportunities as well as motivating talks from entrepreneurs.
Hair & Beauty students recently enjoyed a talk from Nadia Hussain, found of hairloving.com who developed the concept for Hair Loving during her ten years as a professional hairstylist. Hair Loving is a new tried and tested natural hair-care system that restores locks back to their natural beauty.
Teja, Hairdressing Services Level 2 commented: ‘It was great to hear from Nadia, she really motivated me to start my own business at a young age.’
Eram, Hairdressing Level 2 commented on studying at South Thames College, “I really love the environment here, I am doing my work experience at Tony & Guy and learning lots of new techniques, I would love to start my own business as a hairdresser one day.”
