Our Prince's Trust students recently attended a 2 day workshop with MyBnk.
They had the opportunity to learn about managing their money with a range of financial topics, such as; borrowing money, credit cards, interest rates and the differences between APR and AER.
Discussions took place about Tax, PAYE, and payslips. They also looked into council tax and what the money is used for by the local authorities.
Other subjects covered included debt, recovery of debt, prioritising bills, payday loans and loan sharks and how these can affect credit scores.
