The School of Health, Care & Science department has officially launched the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) equipment to help enhance the learning experience of our science and forensics students.
With VR simulations, a 3D computer generated environment enables students to explore the world of forensic science, such as the recreation of crime scenes. Lecturers are also identifying where it can be used in Health & Social Care to enhance their study of anatomy, as well as health and safety. AR equipment allows virtual messages to be communicated in real time. It’s the start of a more exciting and engaging learning environment.
