Alfie completed a full time BTEC in Sport & Exercise Science at Kingston College alongside playing for our Football Academy for 16-18 year olds. He says: “Currently I’m out in America playing football in the NCAA Division 2. I’ve lived in three States: South Carolina, North Carolina and New York during my 4 years here and I will come out with a degree in International Business. The football out here in the States is a blend of different cultures with players from all around the world coming to play. I cannot thank all the coaches at Bedfont and teachers at Kingston College enough for helping prepare me for my time out here.
“When I joined Bedfont I had never played in an academy, I grew so much as a person and a player during my time. If you give 100% to the academy and trust the process, it can set you up amazingly for whatever next step you want to take. Coming in struggling to get into any teams and leaving as the U19 captain was a huge honour for me and shows what is possible with the help of the coaches at Bedfont and Kingston College.”
