Six of this year's Kingston College DofE students have successfully achieved their Duke of Edinburgh's Award (Bronze level) Certificate of Achievement.

The students are Mustafe Arab Abdillahi, William Finch, Georgio Samanidis, Danilo Vicente, Tobe Ugbele and Leonardo Campoverde (Leonardo is absent from photo).

Delighted Tutor Ciaran Fox commented: “These students worked very hard throughout the year completing the relevant DofE sections including the Physical, Volunteering and Skills sections.  I am very happy that these students demonstrated their true potential over the last year despite the obstacles that they faced as a result of the Covid-19 restrictions.  A big factor in enabling the DofE students to achieve their Physical section was thanks to the help of staff member Jess Walker who organised the KC Active table tennis sessions each week for the DofE students.

“The DofE Award is valued by all employers because they know that students that have completed the DofE award are hardworking, dedicated, committed and motivated to achieving their goals. I look forward to new students taking the challenge and enrolling on the DofE Award in September.”
