Recent BA (Hons) Art & Design graduate, Chrissie White, comments on her experience studying as an undergraduate at Kingston College:
“I began my journey at Kingston College’s Creative Industries Centre four months after completing my breast cancer treatment, as I wanted to complete my degree after 19 years and to also process my traumatic experience in a creative way.
“My first week of starting I felt nurtured in my process and creativity. I had an amazing team of tutors who encouraged and guided me through all the modules throughout my time there. It is a wonderful campus with great resources and all the staff are lovely, helpful and approachable. This was a life changing experience for me as it evoked my creativity again and although it was sad to leave I will keep in touch with my college family.
“I feel this is the beginning of me continuing my creative work moving forward as it has had such a positive impact on me and given me confidence in my abilities as an artist. The degree has given me opportunities to either further my education, possibly teaching, or to do an MA.
“I truly have had an amazing experience.”
