Under normal circumstances the BA (Hons) Art & Design and Foundation Degree (FdA) Art & Design students would be inviting you to the interim show which showcases work that will be further developed for their final year show.
This year however they are presenting innovative and exciting works online. In normal times, BA and FdA Art & Design students at Kingston College’s Creative Industries Centre open their doors in February for an interim show. This year is very different, but we’re delighted to give you the opportunity to take a look at our recent work on this site.
Our artists’ talents and skills cover a wide range of media – from painting and photography to textiles and ceramics – and topics, from the personal to the political. This site offers an exciting preview of the variety of work you can expect to see at our end-of-year show in May.
Sometimes a lack of everyday distraction can allow the artist’s imagination to roam more freely than ever. As this show amply demonstrates, we haven’t let lockdown dampen our creative spirits.
