This short course will give you an idea of subjects covered at L1 English Functional Skills and how to best prepare for a Functional Skills course.

Entry Requirements

You will need to have Entry 3 Functional Skills or Entry ESOL or the equivalent skills level.
Course Content

You will be introduced to the L1 English Functional Skills syllabus and skills and knowledge required including reading, writing, speaking, listening and communication, language features, writing for different purposes and audiences, etc.
Progression Next Steps

Enrol on a Level 1 English Functional Skills course for 26-27 or other English qualification of similar level.
