All businesses can be affected by mental health in the workplace and now require an understanding of the issues that are needed to support their staff.

It is estimated that one in four* of us will experience a mental health problem in our lifetime, whilst one in six of us report a common mental health problem such as anxiety or depression each week in England alone. It is critical therefore that you have trained and knowledgeable experts within your organisation who understand that the prevention of mental and physical ill health and promotion of mental health and wellbeing is far better than a sole focus on curing illness.

Employees come away feeling prepared and confident with the appropriate tools and resources to support one another in the workplace.

We have a number of online and face to face courses that will enable your workforce, to enhance skills, retrain or progress in this area.

  • Level 1 Award in Mental Health Awareness
  • Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace (Merton and South Thames Colleges
  • Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems (online course)
