CASE STUDY

Akim Cole studied a Level 3 in Creative Media (Games Design). He is now studying a BSC (Hons) in Character Creation for Animation, Games and VFX at Escape Studios.

“I gained valuable skills at South Thames College by working with both free software like Blender and industry-standard tools like Zbrush, Maya and Unreal. This enabled me to comfortably learn a unique skill every day as I prepared for university. I’m now leading character creation for a group project and recently completed a game-ready character in two weeks, reaching a milestone. This was possible due to the effective time management and software optimisation skills I had learned at College.

Now, I can assist my teammates with other artistic elements efficiently, thanks to Shakil’s teaching."
