The purpose of this qualification is to increase learner's knowledge and awareness of children and young people's mental health.

Entry Requirements
This course is for adult learners 19+. It would be desirable if learners had GCSE grade 4/C in English and /or ESOL/EFL. -
Course Content
To be awarded the qualification, learners are required to successfully complete the following mandatory units:-
Unit 01 Understand children and young people's mental health in context

Course Structure
This course will be delivered on Mondays from 12-3 and Wednesdays from 5-9 with a blended learning approach.Teaching will start from the w/c 24th February 2025 and run until July 2025.

Assessment Details
The Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health is internally assessed using a portfolio of evidence including practical and theoretical assessments.
