Course Content
Session 1: Cyanotype and lumen prints are historic solar photographic processes dating back to the 19th century. In this introductory session, you will learn the basics of chemistry, coating techniques, and exposure methods and experiment with varied papers and materials to create your own photograms without the need for a camera.Session 2: You will experiment further with cyanotype and lumen printing using digital negatives and mixing both processes to create cyanolumen.
By the end of this course, you will be able to work independently to create cyanotype and lumen prints at home.
